Items in our collection ship from Australia via Australian Post.

Items sent domestically will be shipped ‘Parcel Post’ in the appropriate sized pre-paid satchel with tracking and signature upon delivery included. Items will originate from Sydney and will usually arrive within 2-5 business days, but you can check estimates for your specific location via the Australian Post website.

If you require a faster service or would prefer added security, please contact us before making your purchase and we can make adjustments to your shipping costs before you check out.

We ship to most countries Internationally. If your country is not listed at check out, please contact us as we may still be arrange shipping to your location.

Items will be sent ‘Express Post International’ and includes tracking and signature on delivery in most countries. Delivery is usually within 3-7 business days.

Any applicable duties and taxes will be assessed upon delivery into your country and are to be paid by the order recipient. Bilum & Bilas have no control over these charges.


Orders ship from Australia. If you are outside Australia we recommend checking your country’s quarantine and import regulations before purchasing. Some items in our collection are made from natural materials, which are controlled in some countries. Bilum & Bilas cannot control or accept responsibility for any customs or quarantine issues or charges. 

Due to the handmade nature of all the items we stock, imperfections are part and parcel of most products. We love this about our products and feel it adds to their uniqueness. In particular, many of our bilums will have lose threads and some scattered knots and often this is part of the design and inherent in the weaving process of bilums. However, we want you to be be happy with your purchase. If there is a genuine fault in the items you receive, please get in touch to discuss. If we accept your item for return and refund, the item must reach us in the same condition it was received. We cannot accept responsibility for items damaged in transit.
